About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Having a large family of our own, we realise the importance of relaxing and reconnecting on  family holidays. These are special times in life where many happy memories are made and become treasured.

As your hosts, we seek to provide wonderful, family friendly accommodation and service to you, our guest.

The Olsson family moved from NSW to the property in the early 1970's. Originally, the family ran a dairy farm, then later transitioned into beef cattle, and fodder farming which continues with the next generation to this day.

The ideas behind the architecture

The new building for Silk and Oak showcases a blend of modern design and natural elements. With its sleek lines and large windows, it invites an abundance of natural light, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The use of sustainable materials reflects the brand's commitment to environmental responsibility, while the thoughtfully designed spaces promote creativity and collaboration.
